The Nagaland Baptist Church Council (NBCC) conveyed its ‘heartiest’ congratulations to Rev. Dr. Mar Atsongchanger, its incumbent President, on being appointed as the new President of the National Council of Churches of India (NCCI). “We are proud that one of our own members is leading a national organization like NCCI and pray for God’s wisdom and grace as he leads the Churches in India to greater heights and cooperation. The NBCC also expresses its support and solidarity to the new leadership,” the NBCC message said.
