Supreme Court admits AICC petition for disqualification of eight former Congress MLAs

The Supreme Court today admitted the writ petition filed by AICC for disqualification of 8 former Congress MLAs who defected to NPF in November 2015.
Informing this in a release, NPCC President K Therie said the petition was later tagged along with the ongoing case of 3 former NCP MLAs who defected to BJP in 2014.
The AICC was represented by Senior Advocate Salman Khursheed, former Foreign Minister and Advocate Arvind Kumar Gupta.
