Nagaland: Zunheboto Government College organises seminar on NEP 2020

Dimapur, April 1 (EMN): Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the Zunheboto Government College (ZGC) organised a one-day state-level seminar on ‘National Education Policy 2020’ at IQAC seminar hall on March 30.

An update from the college stated that the special guest and deputy commission of Zunheboto, Rahul Bhanudas Mali, has exhorted the upcoming generation to lead a practical approach while choosing employment in one’s life. He stated that with the implementation of NEP 2020, the young minds would be empowered by innovations, creativity and desired skills to meet the national as well as the global standards.

The resource persons were Dr. Rajendra Nath Babu, assistant professor of Teacher Education at Nagaland University, Kohima campus; and Dr. T Chandrasekharan, associate professor of English at ZGC of the 1st and 2nd technical sessions respectively. The technical sessions were moderated by assistant professors Tiasunep Ozukum and Kipfelie Thevo.

The inaugural session was chaired by assistant professor Dr. K Kalito Chishi, while the invocation was said by assistant professor Kezadileno, and the keynote address was delivered by the college principal Dr. Nishena Nekha.

The IQAC coordinator, Dr. G Phukato Sema, welcomed the special guest and participants of the gathering, while a song was presented by Hito and friends and concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by associateprofessor, Dr. Periasamy.
