Various organizations in Kohima’s Naga Hospital colony have strongly condemned the shooting that took place on September 5 amongst rival Naga underground workers near the district hospital. Naga Hospital Colony Youth Organization, Panchayat and women organizations denounced the audacity of the undergrounds for opening fire, endangering lives, creating mass panic and damaging properties.
Further, the organizations have asked the underground factions to refrain from such inhuman acts in future, a joint press release received here today stated.
Naga Hospital Colony Youth Organization (NHCYO) President Ame Yiese told newsman that the organizations strongly condemn the frequent shootouts in the area endangering lives and creating panic among the civilians, patients and medical personnel of the hospital.
