Mokokchung has new computer edu center

[dropcap]A[/dropcap] computer training center called the All India Computer Saksharta Mission (AICSM) was officially launched on Tuesday in Aongza Ward of Mokokchung town.
AICSM is a national education programme of the Information Technology & Development department run by the Rostriya Jan Kalyan Technological Society. AICSM is also member of computer society of India and is an ISO certified company.Speaking during the launch, branch director of the AICSM center, Yanger Pongen, highlighted the aims and objectives of the center. He said to have had a dream of opening a computer training center, which would provide quality education to learners and at nominal fees. He said the center aims to bring out the ‘best hidden ability of the learners.’
Assistant General Secretary of the Ao Kaketshir Mungdang (AKM), Shilukaba Longchar, and secretary of the Aongza ward authority, Tinumayang, also spoke during the event.
Shilukaba Longchar lauded the initiators for opening the center for the community. He expressed hope that the center would provide a better platform of computer education particularly to youths.
Mentioning that the 66th conference of the AKM which was conducted under the theme ‘Oriented Citizen’ had also organized a seminar about self reliance for students, he said “today we are witnessing the fruits borne from the seminar.”
Tinumayang expressed hope that the training centre would provide quality computer education and bring benefit to the wards of the town and the society in general. He assured all possible help from the ward’s authority ‘regarding essential needs, recommendation etc.’
The training centre will be providing certificate courses, diploma courses and professional course.
