Three caught with liquor near state’s police HQ

[dropcap]E[/dropcap]nforcement personnel of Kohima have arrested three persons, including a minor, for smuggling liquor in Kohima town. The three were caught from virtually under the nose of the police – authorities informed on Tuesday that they were caught just near the police headquarters in the capital town.
On March 31 at around 6:30 am, a combined team of District Intelligence Branch and a mobile unit of the District Executive Force of Kohima intercepted one Mahindra Scorpio (NL-01/C-3814, engine BF34H49190, Chassis MA1TA2BFC32H85400) from the police headquarter point in Kohima town.The police found 50 cases of Indian Made Foreign Liquor.
The three accused persons have been identified as one Satish Singh, 25 years of Hazirpur village in Bihar, Safdar Ali, 43 years, of Shiwan village in Bihar and an a 15 years old minor from Motihali village, also in Bihar. There were taken into police custody for further investigation, the authorities.
