Dimapur, Dec. 3 (EMN): The Eastern Naga Students’ Federation (ENSF) has accused the state government of not having the political will to address its demands.

In a press release, the ENSF stated that it was appalled at the manner in which the cabinet sub-committee, after inviting the ENSF for a meeting, cancelled it at the last minute, “which shows how the government does not want to address the demands and buy time”.

It also informed that a second round of meeting with the Nagaland Public Service Commission (NPSC), as per directed by the chief minister, was held on December 2; however, the outcome remained inclusive “as they have miserably failed to give a written justification and clarification to the issues raised by the federation”.

The federation stated that its indefinite agitation will continue in the entire eastern districts.

The ENSF informed its federating units that the third phase of agitations will begin by locking down administrative offices at districts as well as sub-divisions under its jurisdiction; while ‘complete restriction on government activities and the others remain’.
