Ideation hackathon to be held in Kohima on June 18
DIMAPUR — An ideation hackathon for students will be held at Naga Hospital Authority, Kohima, on June 18.
According to a DIPR report, this event is open to all students, including those from high school, design school, engineering, medical, and dental colleges.
It will be conducted under the project Digital Design and 3D Printing Centre of Excellence in the Electronic Manufacturing Cluster (EMC) in collaboration with other government agencies (3dpcoe.in), which is being implemented by Assam Electronics Development Corporation Limited (AMTRON) under the guidance of the North Eastern Council, Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (MDoNER).
The report stated that details of the project can be viewed on the website 3dpcoe.in. Also, interested applicants can apply by registering on the website.
Scheduled for June 18, interested participants have until June 11 to submit their applications. Following this, a local committee will screen the applications received by June 14. Shortlisted candidates will then be notified via email and WhatsApp on June 16 to prepare for their presentations
Furthermore, it is noted that the shortlisted teams, duly mentored, will compete with teams from outside Nagaland in the final hackathon to be held in Tech City, Guwahati, in August. There will be five winning teams, with each receiving cash prizes and other incentives totaling INR 50 lakh per team.
