Aainball to be introduced in educational institutions

KOHIMA — The Nagaland Aainball Association (NABA) resolved on Monday to introduce the Aainball in schools, colleges, and universities.

The decision was made during the first general meeting of the NABA held in Kohima under the presidency of MLA Kuzholuzo Nienu, who also serves as the leader of the NPF Legislature Party.

Avizo Nienu, the general secretary of NABA, informed the media that during the meeting, the association also resolved to register under the Societies Act 1860 and that it was also resolved to conduct a training camp for Nagaland coaches in the first week of April 2024 in Dimapur.

The camp would be conducted under the guidance of NABA advisors Sandeep, additional director general of police (law and order); T Aochuba, conservator of Forest (wildlife), director of Intanki National Park; and Imlibenla Nienu, Miss Super Talent Asia Pacific 2016.

Avizo said the training will be conducted by internationally trained coaches, who will be invited from outside Nagaland, and following the training, NABA will introduce the game to the educational institutions.
