Training on educational management for administrators held
DIMAPUR — The State Institute of Educational Management and Training (SIEMAT) held a five-day training session on educational management and administration for educational administrators at the SIEMAT, State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) office in Kohima.
According to a DIPR report, it was held from February 6 to 10 in collaboration with the National Institute of Educational Planning and Administration (NIEPA), New Delhi.
Speaking during the inaugural programme, Kevirale-ű Kerhuo, Director of SCERT, emphasised the importance of educational administrators in shaping the future of individuals and the educational landscape.
She highlighted the initiation of various educational programmes and missions by both the centre and the state, stressing that educational administrators at the district level serve as the administrative heads of their respective areas. She underscored that any programme or policy related to the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 would be disseminated under their leadership.
The training was attended by 24 educational managers and functionaries from the Directorate of School Education (DoSE), district education officers (DEOs) from all districts, and SCERT officials.
