All Nagaland Private Schools’ Association Dimapur sports meet concludes

DIMAPUR — Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Dimapur, won the overall champion trophy at the All Nagaland Private Schools’ Association (ANPSA) Dimapur sports meet, with a total medal tally point of 195.

The two-day sporting event, which was held at Don Bosco Higher Secondary School Sports Complex in Dimapur, concluded on Friday with a closing ceremony, wherein the ANPSA flag was handed over to Dr. Andrew Ahoto Sema, President of ANPSA Dimapur, according to an update received here on Saturday.

Several schools competed in events including volleyball, basketball, march past, 100 metre race, 200 metre race, 4×100 metre relay race and tug-of-war.

While Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Dimapur won the overall champion title, Livingstone Foundation International, Dimapur, was declared the 1st runners-up with a total medal tally point of 165, and Lorna’s Hr. Sec. School won the 2nd runners-up position with a total medal tally point of 90. Meanwhile, the Best Discipline Award went to Harvest Mission School.
