Dimapur, June 20 (EMN): Indian Council for Cultural Relations, Guwahati, and Task Force for Music and Arts (TaFMA) have announced to observe the ‘World Music Day’ on June 21 by organising live concert on Facebook with the theme ‘One North East.’
The live concert will be curated by Musik-A featuring eight artistes from north-eastern states which will commence at 8 pm.
Speaking to Eastern Mirror, TaFMA advisor Theja Meru informed that the live concert is being organised to convey the message for all artistes to unite as a region and look at the brighter side of life.
Meru informed that the eight artistes from eight NE states will be performing about two songs each.
The artistes who will perform at the event are: Soulmate from Meghalaya, Girish Pradhan (GATC) from Sikkim, Joi Barua from Assam, Lenzing Doming from Arunachal Pradesh, Henry Varte from Mizoram, Nourhe Khate from Nagaland, Mangka from Manipur, Borkung Hrangkhawl (BK) from Tripura.
