Yimkhiung Akherü Arihako asks HoDs to report to places of posting

Dimapur, Oct. 16 (EMN): The Yimkhiung Akherü Arihako (YAA) has informed all the Head of Departments (HoDs) to immediately detach all political attachments and report to their original places of posting.

Claiming that some individuals are clandestinely pursuing for relocation of post either through political attachments or through extraneous reasons by disregarding government’s notification, the YAA said “no employee should be granted attachments under any circumstances”.

It added that ‘such practices adversely affect the smooth functioning of offices and institutions, causing a shortfall of officers and staff’.

The YAA reiterated that ‘transferring of government employees along with the incumbent or without reliever of equivalent post/rank shall not be permitted in the entire Yimkhiung jurisdiction under any circumstances’. It added that the concerned HoD would be held responsible and accountable for adequate compensation in the event of any unwanted fallout.

The YAA also asked all the teachers, who are undergoing professional courses permitted by DoSE, to submit a photocopy of the permission order/admission receipt in their respective posting school without delay.

“In the event of failure to produce the same shall be construed as ‘truant’ and that YAA shall not own responsibility in event of any eventuality that may arise due to wilful dereliction of official duty as government servant,” it warned.

While asking all the SMCs to remain vigilant, the YAA encouraged its constituent units ‘to conduct surprise inspections in their respective jurisdictions and report it to YAA office if any lapses are detected for onward submission to the higher authority for appropriate action’.
