DIMAPUR — In run-up to its 125th Quasqui centenary celebration, Yikhum Baptist Church (YBC) in Wokha district held a three-day revival meeting from June 16 to the 18th on the theme ‘Repent and live’ (Ezekiel 18:30-32). The Yikhum Baptist Church was established in year 1898.
A press release from the organisers informed that the main speakers of the programme were Rev. Zotuo Kiewhuo, senior pastor of Koinonia Baptist Church (KBC), and H Rokopra Mekro, assistant pastor of Koinonia Prayer Centre (KPC) and the praise and worship was led by the YBC church workers.
Speaking on Sunday, which also coincided with Father’s Day programme, Rev. Kiewhuo told the congregation that ‘there is oneness if their eyes are fixed on Jesus.’ He exhorted the church leaders and head of family not to be a religious leader but to play the role of a spiritual leader and a spiritual father of the family.
During the programme, songs were presented by Koinonia ministry team, evangelist Asi Meyase and YBC Bible students. The service was led by Yanithung Odyuo, youth director.
The evening service was led by Prescilla Kithan, women leader, wherein songs were presented by Koinonia team and evangelist Neilhou.
