Wokha, Dec. 20 (EMN): A 15-day Wokha night carnival came to close on December 20, which witnessed more than thousands revellers on the final day. The night carnival was organised by Tsumang ‘A’ Colony Union and Tsumang ‘A’ Youth organisation which began on December 5.
T Lanusenla Longkumer, SDO Civil, Wokha, graced the closing function as the special guest. Addressing the closing ceremony, she instilled upon the citizens of the district to continue supporting and promote entrepreneurs and local talents.Extravaganza night from December 17 to 20 added colours to the programme. A special numbers were presented by Khonzani Murry, Lucy Yanthan and Renthungo Odyuo. Dance, songs and beat boxing were presented by young talents.
Khyodemo Ovung, convener of the night carnival, has highlighted on the significance the event which was aimed at promoting moral, physical, spiritually and economy aspects of life.
H Nzamo Ngullie, associate Pastor of AG Church, Wokha, has invoked God’s blessing, while the vote of thanks was pronounced by Er. Yanpvuo Ezung, chairman of Tsumang ‘A’ colony.
