Dimapur, May 14 (EMN): Deputy Commissioner, Wokha, Wezope Kenye, has congratulated all successful students for bringing good name to the district in the HSLC & HSSLC examinations and announced that the District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) will felicitate the toppers from the district in the next meeting.
He stated this, while chairing the monthly DPDB on May 9 in the DC’s conference hall.
The Board discussed on the proposed mass plantation to be conducted at Mt. Tiyi commemorating World environment Day on June 5. Wezope urged the members to come forward and extend support for the success of the plantation.
He also announced that the district would soon experience road improvement as the concerned department is doing its best for total implementation.
Principal GHSS Wokha, Emilo Patton presented a brief report on district performance on HSLC & HSSLC results.
The Department of Food & Civil Supply and the Department of Land Record & Survey (LRS) and Legal Metrological & Control Production (LMCP) made power point presentation on its activities in the district.
