WDEA, MCCI hold consultative meet

Dimapur, May 14 (EMN): With the sole aim in building cohesive relationship of trust, knowledge, guidance, encouragement and to bring business possibilities to life for both district, members of Wokha District Entrepreneurs’ Association (WDEA) led by its president Ponathung Kikon held a consultative meeting with the members of Mokokchung Chamber of Commerce and Industry on May 6.
It said MCCI president Tsukti and his colleagues warmly welcomed the entrepreneurs from Wokha at MCCI conference hall and shared experiences and ideas ranging from banks loans, financial issues face by the local entrepreneurs in the two districts.
MCCI president also lent his full support in providing anything to the needs of each district by helping each other even to the extent of helping out food materials in times of road blockages due to landslides or other means. He was optimistic to having a good business partnership, networking and relationship with each other.
WDEA team also visited Mopungchuket, a prominent oldest Ao Naga village, and got the privileges of seeing a number of cultural attractions like the hanging bridge, traditional wooden carvings, time tower, log drums, village museums, morungs and library hall. Later, the team visited the Ao’s mission centre, Impur, and Ungma village.
WDEA also proposed to visit the foothill areas starting from Champang oil belt to Ralan area in the first week of June with the sole purpose of acquiring entrepreneurial experiences on farming by having interactions with the land owners.
