Water Resources Department bids farewell to outgoing officers
DIMAPUR — The Department of Water Resources bid farewell to the outgoing chief engineer, Razouvolie Kelio, and superintendent engineer, Chubasahi Chang, at the chief engineer’s office, Kohima, on Thursday.
According to a DIPR report, speaking on the occasion, the incoming chief engineer, K Hutoi Ayemi, expressed his deepest appreciation to the outgoing chief engineer for his remarkable contributions to the department, highlighting his dedication, vision, and tireless efforts. Ayemi particularly noted his commitment to initiatives such as groundwater schemes.
He also praised the outgoing superintendent engineer, Chubasashi Chang, for a distinguished career marked by excellence, dedication, innovation, and the concept of the multipurpose irrigation project, which cleverly included a power generation component.
During the programme, MLA and Advisor for Water Resources, Tongpang Ozukum, also expressed appreciation for their dedicated services and remarkable contributions to the department. He commended their efficiency, hard work, competence, resourcefulness, passion, and unrelenting commitment.
Kelio congratulated the incoming chief engineer and thanked the officers and staff for all the help and cooperation given during his tenure as the head of department. Chang also encouraged the young officers and staff for their dedication to the department with the same zeal and thanked the department for their cooperation during his service.
