MOKOKCHUNG — The second SYU Open Futsal Tournament, organised by Salangtem Youth Union under the aegis of the Mokokchung District Football Association, will take place from March 26 to 28 at Mojabi Futsal Turf in Salangtem ward.
Additional deputy commissioner (ADC), Mokokchung, and Mokokchung Municipal Council administrator, Chumlamo Humtsoe, consented to attend the occasion as the guest of honour.
The registration fee for each team will be INR 3,500. Forms will be available at G-Sports (next to The Magnus Hotel), Purple Dew (opposite Allahabad Bank), and the Network Travels counter at Yongpang Market.
The last date for the submission of forms is March 23. The fixtures for the tournament are scheduled to be drawn on March 25 at Salangtem ward community hall.
The tournament will offer cash prizes as follows: INR 60,000 with a trophy for the champion, INR 40,000 for the runner-up, and INR 10,000 for the third place. There is also a pool of INR 10,000 for individual prizes.
