Dimapur, Feb. 2 (EMN): A state-level Academic and Administrative Audit (AAA) from the directorate of Higher Education visited Don Bosco College Kohima (DBCK) on January 28.
The team comprised of principal of Japfü Christian College Dr. Visakhonü Hibo as convener, additional director (retired) of Higher Education Dr. Watijungshi Ao, and deputy director of Higher Education Medongoi Rhakho as members. The aim of the event was to prepare the college for the 1st cycle of NAAC assessment, an update from the college stated.
During a programme, the college principal Fr Dr P Suresh Innocent presented report on the college profile, academic results of the last four years, fund and infrastructure enhancement undertaken.
It was followed with a presentation by Jarani Mao, IQAC coordinator, who deliberated on the NAAC criteria and also on the academic enhancement undertaken by the college. Departmental reports were also presented by the head of all departments.
The team also interacted with the students, teaching faculty and staff separately. Later, the team made a physical verification of accounts and establishment sections, exam branch, DBCK students’ forum office, classrooms etc.
An exit meeting was held with the principal, IQAC members, HoDs, and staff members, where the team members shared some key remarks and made suggestions for improvement. The event ended with the report writing by the AAA team.
