State BJP intensive orientation trg; welcomes new members

Dimapur, Nov. 04 (EMN): The State Bharatiya Janata party (BJP) organised one day intensive orientation training programme on Nov. 4 at Tourist Lodge conference hall, Dimapur, under the chairmanship of State President Visasolie Lhoungu. Former state president, Dr. M Chuba Ao invoked God’s blessings.
BJP legislator party leader and parliamentary secretary, P Paiwang Konyak highlighted various central schemes and its achievement under the NDA Government such as Skill India, Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana, Digital India, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and Prakash Path-way to light-the National LED programme etc.
Former minister Kheto Sema and Dr. Chuba Ao presented the strategies to for 2018 assembly election, while organising secretary Ananta Narayan Mishar and state executive member K James Vizo, highlighted the BJP history and misconceptions on the party by the opponents.
State President in his concluding remark asked the four district touring teams to complete the awareness touring on or before Nov. 20. He also announced that Union Minister of Railway Rajen Gohain, will be visiting Dimapur in connection to one year completion of Demonetisation- fight against black money which will be observe by the BJP throughout the country on Nov. 8.
Party strengthen with new members
The State BJP on Friday welcomed the new members, all from the 18th Chozuba Assembly Constituency to its fold. The members were received by BJP president Visasolie Lhoungu and other party officials at their Head office, Kohima.
At the ceremonial function BJP executive member Dr. V Thingo, welcomed all the members and invoked God’s blessing for the new members and the party.
State BJP president while welcoming the members, said the party is not a new one but now 25 years old. However, he said it has not made much impact so far in Nagaland, but now the central government is giving attention for the state.
Stating that all possible effort will be extended to the party in the state, Lhoungu informed that the party is trying its best to make a mark in the state. He therefore exhorted the party men to work hard adding that “BJP never forget those who work hard for the party.”
Lhoungu also said “in 2018 State Assembly general election, BJP appears to be the only clear alternative political party to form a new government in the state as other political parties in Nagaland are gripped into serious crisis with fractured factions.”
At this juncture, he stated that BJP will consolidate its position in the coming election to provide a corruption free government and bring development to the state and added that the party will provide a difference in governance.
General secretary Eduzu Theluo received the new members with gift token. He expressed happiness that they will strengthen the party in general and Chozuba Assembly Constituency in particular.
Vedayi Nyekha who led the new members to the function was a former CPO president and also former general secretary and DAN member secretary from BJP was accompanied by Zuchucho Rhakho and other members.
Nyekha expressed “it is his home coming to BJP again because it is in his blood.” He asserted that any challenges that come, he will take up with commitment. Although a deserter once from the party, he said he will do his mite to strengthen the party with steadfastness.
