St. Paul School Sanis new building foundation stone laid

Dimapur, April 30 (EMN): The foundation for the new school building for St. Paul School, Sanis, was blessed by Most Rev. Dr. James Thoppil, the bishop of Kohima on April 29.
Programme Manager, Catholic Mission, Australia Lawrence Gligliotti laid the foundation stone and unveiled the plague on the occasion in the presence of Fathers and pastors, village leaders Catholic community, parents and students.
Speaking at the foundation programme, Bishop said that the long cherished dream of having good school building for the St. Paul School, Sanis was being realized with the support from the diocese of Bathurst, Australia and Lawrence presence is very significant. It is because of the sacrifices of many people that we are able to have many of the facilities we have, he said.
Bishop requested the students to pray for their benefactors and urged them to be responsible by inculcating values to the gospel and living by them, thus making a small difference to the society in return. Referring to the parable of the talents, Bishop added that we must return in double for what we have received.
During the short felicitation programme various items were presented by the school children and the community. Rev. Fr. Mathew Mhabemo, principal and centre welcome the gathering.
