Dimapur, Sep. 21 (EMN): The St. Paul Parish Pungro has expressed deep sorrow at the demise of Rev. Fr. Mathew Keemattam. The community in its condolence message said Rev. Mathew was a pioneering missionary who travelled even by foot to saw the seed of faith in Phuvkiu and then took charge of Kiphire Mission during 1974. The parish also expressed that his gifted spiritual guidance and contribution in the field of education will live in the hearts and minds of the people.
The church shared their sorrows and sadness with the diocese and family members.
