Sepaktakraw, U-14 badminton selection for Niuland district

DIMAPUR — The District Sports Officer (DSO), Niuland, will be organising inter-high school tournament-cum-selection of players for Niuland district in sepaktakraw (regu event) for both boys and girls on October 11 at 10 am at Government Middle School ground, Showuba, Niuland.

The best five players (both boys and girls) will be selected to represent Niuland district at the state-level inter-high school tournament to be held at IG Stadium, Kohima, from October 16 to the 19^th, an update stated.

Interested players from schools, clubs and organisations can participate in the district tournament by registering themselves at the office of the District Sports Officer, Dimapur, latest by October 10. For any enquiry or assistance, one can contact 8787773549, 8414099095 or 9711868013.

Meanwhile, the DSO Dimapur will also be conducting selection trials for Niuland district Khelo India Center U-14 badminton for both boys and girls at Indoor Stadium, Vihokhu, Niuland, from 9 am onwards on September 30.

All interested bonafide inhabitants candidates of Niuland district should bring their original Aadhaar card at the time of selection.
