KOHIMA, JULY 17
Turaco KSC, Ziekezou Club, Silver Knights and Kohima Raiders have entered the semifinal of the ongoing Season Futsal Championship held at D Khel Ground, Seikhzou, Kohima village.
Turaco KSC will take on Ziekezou Club tomorrow, while Silver Knights will play with Kohima Raiders. Both the semifinal matches would be played tomorrow at 11.30 am, while the final is scheduled at 3 pm.
Turaco KSC entered the semifinal after overcoming Keriedzükha United by 3-0, while Ziekezou Club made their way to the last four after defeating Falcon FC by 5-1.Silver Knights had a convincing win in the quarterfinal beating Local Roosters with a big margin of 6-0, while Kohima Raiders downed Zippy Club by 2-1.
The champions of the tournament will be rewarded with Rs 30,000, while the runners-up will receive Rs 15,000. As for the individual awards, the highest scorer and the best goalkeeper will be given Rs. 2,500 each.
