Sao Chang College organises workshop on photography and videography
DIMAPUR — Botanical Club under the Botany department of Sao Chang College, Tuensang, organised a workshop on the basics of photography and videography on April 15 at the college conference hall.
The workshop was held with the objective to enlighten the participants about the educational power of photo and video production in the current digital age, the college stated in an update.
Batang Tobou, a professional photographer, highlighted the different types of cameras, demonstrated on various technical functions of the camera and how to make adjustments while taking images to produce quality results.
Hongen Thangte, a freelancer, shared on how he started producing videos and urged the students that YouTube and other social media are effective platforms for showcasing talent.
Thangte also explained the fundamental posture requirements and the various tools required while recording video. He also demonstrated the use of Kinemaster app, smartphone version and use of Wondershare Filmora, PC version.

A total of 11 students and 10 assistant professors attended the workshop. Feedbacks were also collected at the end of the training session. The workshop was led by Sochemlemla, B. Sc 2nd semester.
