Samsung unveils new Galaxy M42 5G smartphone in India
Dimapur, April 28 (EMN): Just a month after launching two new Galaxy A-series smartphones, Samsung has announced a new Galaxy M-series smartphone — Galaxy M42 5G — in India, starting at INR 21,999.
The Galaxy M42 5G smartphone comes in two options: a 6GB+128GB variant and an 8GB+128GB variant, priced at INR 21,999 and INR 23,999, respectively.
However, Samsung is offering special discounted prices as part of an introductory offer for its users if they place orders from Samsung.com and Amazon sale in May. Users can get the new Galaxy M42 5G for only INR 19,999 and INR 21,999 respectively.

Galaxy M42 5G specs
The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G processor and also sports a 5000mAh battery.
It has a 6.6-inch AMOLED Infinity-U display and boasts features 15W fast charging, Knox security and Samsung Pay.
The Samsung Galaxy M42 5G sports a quad rear camera setup with a 48MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, a 5MP macro sensor, and a 5MP depth sensor. It also comes with a 20MP front camera with ‘selfie focus’ for high-resolution selfies.
The camera is equipped with useful features like Single Take which allows you to take multiple photos and video outputs with a single click, Night Mode, Hyperlapse, Super-Slow motion, Scene Optimiser and Flaw Detection.
