Police personnel, NST drivers trained on use of PPE

Dimapur, July 11 (EMN): Police personnel and NST drivers were trained on the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) safety precautions in regard to Covid-19 in the Conference Hall of Chief Medical Officer Office, Mokokchung, on July 10.

Resource person of the training programme, Dr. Aonungdok (epidemiologist), presented the standard precautions to be followed to the participants, informed an update issued by the district programme management unit, NRHM, Mokokchung.

The training was said to be related to the Covid-19- donning and doffing, hand washing technique and control measures to be followed in quarantine centres and check gates. A short video about hand washing and guidelines on PPE and its disposal was also screened at the event.

Earlier during the programme, Deputy CMO Dr. Kibangkumba welcomed the participants, encouraged and challenged the frontline workers to give their best.
