Dimapur, May 15 (EMN): Peren district Covid-19 task force on Friday decided to set up a temporary makeshift camp at Punglwa junction to assist the entry of vehicles carrying stranded people coming from outside the state to the district.
The meeting held under the chairmanship of the deputy commissioner of Peren, Sentiwapang Aier also resolved that data collection and proper screening will be done at the Government High School ground, Mhainamtsi.
According to DIPR update, the meeting was convened district at the Women Welfare conference hall in Jalukie, to discuss about the arrangements and preparedness of quarantine facilities for the stranded people returning to the.
During the meeting, DIO Dr. Asang, Peren additional deputy commissioner, Ngwalwa extra assistant commissioner, and Ahthibung sub-divisional officer presented a report on the preparedness and intake capacity of the identified quarantine centres of the district.
The meeting was also attended by representatives from quarantine centre, transportation team, joint action committee, Jalukie sub-divisional task force, Ahthibung sub-divisional task force, Peren sub-divisional task force and Tening sub-divisional task force.
