Dimapur, April 13 (EMN): Career Guidance Cell of Patkai Christian College (Autonomous) organised a one-day seminar on career guidance with the additional commissioner of GST, Dimapur, Sashi Wapang Lanu, and the CEO and founder of Entrepreneur Associates (EA), Neichute Duolo, as the resource persons on April 12.
An update from the college stated that the resource persons shared their experiences and knowledge on respective fields encouraging the students to align their lifestyle with their dreams.
It stated that Lanu has briefed the students about the competitive exams in India and his journey in UPSC. He sensitised the gathering on NPSC, UPSC and various stages of the competitive exams. Lanu also challenged the students to work harder in order to outdo the 99.9% people and take the 0.01% to get through the competitive exams.
Neichute Doulo, who spoke on entrepreneurship, has highlighted the present ecosystem of business in Nagaland and the various prospects and growth opportunities for those interested in pursuing entrepreneurship as a career option.
Doulo underscored the importance of decision making and emphasised on valuing money.
In the second session, representatives from the Nagaland Tool Room and Training Centre (NTTC) and the YouthNet Job Centre (YJC), Dimapur, briefed about their organisations and also held an interactive session with the students.
The programme was chaired by Zulusenla, while the opening prayer was said by Rev. Vichiikho Ngukha and the welcome address was delivered by the college principal. A song was presented by Sangmeichila.
