Dimapur, March 19 (EMN): National Service Scheme (NSS) volunteers of C-Edge College and Tetso College have showcased the rich cultural heritage of the Nagas through presentation of folk dance and song during the 15th NSS festival which was held at Don Bosco College, Itanagar, in Arunachal Pradesh from March 6-10.

The NCC festival was held on the theme ‘Ek Bharat, Shreshta Bharat.’

NSS volunteers from C-Edge College and Tetso College represented Nagaland and showcase the rich culture of Nagaland through traditional dance and folk song.

It was a rich learning experience with various speakers and resource persons who spoke on various relevant fields for the NSS volunteers. The volunteers had a chance to visit Jawaharal Nehru Museum and the Buddhist Monastery in Itanagar. Some of the volunteers donated blood during the festival.

Meanwhile, C-Edge College NSS volunteers have acknowledged the State NSS Officer C Theyo for the opportunity to be a part of the festival.
