Dimapur, Dec. 20 (EMN): Nagaland State Bharat Scouts and Guides (NSBSG) has organised a one-day workshop on ‘Surf Smart,’ a state level training of trainers, at its Headquarters at Bayavü Hill, Kohima, on December 16.
Chubanungla, state secretary of BSG, was the chief guest and Vimezhonu Tetso, SOC (G), chaired the formal programme. John Tochimong, SOC (S), and Kholie Dolf, former SOC (S), were also present during the programme.
The workshop was conducted by Kekhrieselhou Theünuo, Surf Smart state trainer. Resource persons from National Institute of Electronic Learning & Information Technology (NIELIT) namely A Morimenba Amer, deputy director and scientist, and Zedikuolie Kire, assistant engineer made presentations on cyber crimes and its related issues.
Ch. Birendra Kumar, ROC (S) of Bharat Scouts & Guides, NE Region, attended the workshop as a resource person as well as observer of the workshop. A total of 31 participants consisting of unit leaders, senior scouts and guides, rover and rangers along with 4 staff attended the workshop.
