Dimapur, Dec. 20 (EMN): Heningkunglwa Village Council (HVC) has strongly refuted the statement issued by the Commissioner and Secretary wherein it claimed that an amount of INR 70 lakhs was sanctioned for plantation project and another amount of INR 100 lakhs for fresh cutting of road in the village.
The council chairman Kangzang Iheilung and the secretary Heiding claimed the amount of INR 70 lakhs in plantation project for six persons including Abuna were unknown adding the project was never seen in the village/
The council went to claimed that an amount of INR 100 lakhs spent for fresh cutting of road by KKN Construction in Heningkunglwa was not in the knowledge of the village council.
Taking exception to the false statement, the council stated that it would not remain mere spectators in such dubious project and irrelevant beneficiaries which has damaged the good image of the village by some vested interest persons.
