KOHIMA — After three days of deliberation on issues and matters pertaining to the state, Nagaland Legislative Assembly (NLA) Speaker, Sharingain Longkumer, on Thursday adjourned the second session of the 14th NLA sine die.
The Speaker acknowledged all the members of the house for their keen interest and enthusiasm in participating in topics of vital interest to the state.
Longkumer said during the three-day sessions, besides the question hours, the house could transact business of paramount importance to the state including matters of urgent public importance.
He maintained that though the sitting was brief, the house passed five bills and adopted four resolutions.
Further, he acknowledged the government department officials for the smooth conduct of the session.
