Car passes for first session of 13th NLA
In view of the first session of the 13th Nagaland Legislative Assembly scheduled to be held on March 13, 22nd, 23rd, 24th and 26th, the commissioner and secretary, N Benjamin Newmai has informed that car passes and official gallery passes will be issued from March 10. Ministers and AHODs are to collect passes from the special secretary (Home), Civil Secretariat in Kohima while HODs and medias are to collect from reception counter gate no-I, Nagaland Legislative Assembly Secretariat and MLAs / PS / PA and other department are directed to collect from reception counter gate no-II.
Higher Education to conduct workshop
Directorate of Higher Education will be conducting a workshop on ‘New accreditation framework- Quality indicator framework’ for principals and coordinator of secular colleges on March 13 at 10 am at the Capital Convention Centre in Kohima. All the principals and IQAC coordinators have been asked to attend positively. Prof. RC Gupta, pro vice-chancellor of Nagaland University, Kohima campus, Meriema will be the chief guest for the programme while Dr. BS Madhukar, advisor of National Assessment & Accreditation Council (NAAC), Bengaluru will be the resource person.
NDPP to have thanksgiving programme
The 9th Kohima town assembly constituency of Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) will conduct a thanksgiving service-cum-picnic on March 10 at D-Khel ground, Seikhazou in Kohima village at 2 pm. Newly elected representative of the constituency, Dr. Neikiesalie Kire will deliver a thanksgiving speech while NDPP vice president Menuovilie Kesiezie will also address the party members. The party unit has invited all its members and well wishers to attend the programme.
Dimapur Sakshi Union’s annual general meeting
The Dimapur Sakshi Union will be conducting its annual general meeting on March 10 at 10 am at the residence of its treasurer H Molem Phom, Signal Angami village in Dimapur. Union members have been requested to attend the same along with yearly membership fee.
Kohima, Mon DPDB meeting on March 15
The monthly meeting of the Kohima District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) has been scheduled on March 15 at 10 a.m. at the DPDB’s conference hall. Also Mon DPDB also convened its monthly meeting on March 15, at 11 am at deputy commissioner’s conference hall. Both the board members have been requested to positively attend the meeting.
Health seminar held at Gaili
In continuation to the Nagaland Health Project (NHP) sub-centre management committee (HSCMC) Gaili conducted health awareness programme on topic “Maternal and child care,” on March 8 at Panchayat Hall Gaili with Bandngnaro ANM as resource person.
