NBSE informs on project Veer Gatha 3.0 UPLOADED

DIMAPUR — Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) has notified all the heads of registered institutions of the Board that the Ministry of Defence (MoD), in collaboration with the Ministry of Education (MoE), has decided to launch Project Veer Gatha 3.0 in the current year 2023-24.

It stated that Project Veer Gatha was instituted under Gallantry Awards Portal (GAP) in 2021 with the aim to disseminate the acts of bravery of the gallantry awardees and the life stories of those brave hearts among the students so as to raise the spirit of patriotism and instil the values of civic consciousness.

It informed that Project Veer Gatha would provide a platform for the school students to do creative projects/ activities based on gallantry award winners.

As part of the project, it stated that students could frame different projects such as poems, paragraphs, stories, drawings, and videos on gallantry award winners.

There would be winners at every level from district, state and national levels. It informed that the winner at the national level would be felicitated jointly by the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Defence, government of India, in Delhi. All the winners at the district and state levels would be felicitated by their respective districts and states.

In this regard, all heads of registered institutions are directed to inform and popularise Project Veer Gatha and to upload all the entries in MyGov Portal. NBSE informs HSLC, HSSLC repeaters

Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) has informed all regular repeaters and centre repeaters intending to appear for the HSLC and HSSLC examinations 2024 to contact their respective institutions/ examination centres.

HSLC repeaters are asked to submit the form from August 1 to the 12th, while HSSLC repeaters are asked to submit the form between August 8 to the 12th.

The heads of institutions have been requested to guide the candidates in the procedure of filling up online application forms through the NBSE portal nbsenl.edu.in and inform the candidates to pay the examination fee to enable verification of their application forms and forward the forms through the portal for approval of the board.

It added that rules and regulations for filling up the form and submission thereof for repeaters are made available on nbsenl.edu.in for reference and necessary action.
