NBA announces selection trials for junior boys’ basketball team

DIMAPUR — The Nagaland Basketball Association (NBA) has announced selection trials for the junior boys’ basketball team, set to participate in the 74th Junior National Basketball Championship. The championship is scheduled to take place from May 8 to the14th in Indore, Madhya Pradesh.

According to a press release, the trials will be held at two venues. The Dimapur trials will take place on April 26 at JVF Basketball Court, Signal Angami, starting from 3 pm. onwards. The Kohima trials are scheduled for April 27 at the Don Bosco HSS Basketball Court, commencing at 2 pm.

All the players have been requested to report for trials with their full kit, original birth certificates and Aadhar cards.

Only players born on or after January 1, 2006, are eligible to participate. Additionally, players must ensure that their birth certificates were obtained either in the year of their birth or within five years thereafter.
