Nasa ‘B’ wins men and women Sepaktakraw

Kohima, Feb. 3 (EMN): Nasa ‘B’ emerged victorious in both men’s and women’s sepaktakraw at the ongoing 63rd Northern Angami Sports Association (Nasa) meet on Thursday at IG Stadium in Kohima.

Nasa ‘B’ defeated Nasa ‘D’ to clinch championship title in Sepaktakraw (men), while Nasa ‘B’ also beat Nasa ‘D’ in the women’s final.

In men’s volleyball, Nasa ‘C’ defeated Nasa ‘B’ in the first semi final, while Nasa ‘A’ overpowered Nasa ‘D’ in the second semi final.

Nasa ‘B’ defeated Nasa ‘A’ in the first semi final of women’s volleyball and Nasa ‘D’ registered win over Nasa ‘C’ in the second semi final.

In football (men), Nasa ‘A’ defeated Nasa ‘B’ 4-3 in the first semi final.

Vilhoubeituo Yhome scored twice for Nasa ‘A’, while Noulevituo Pienyü and Ruovizhalie Whuorie netted a goal each for the side.

Nasa ‘B’ gained three goals through Neingutuolie Thevo (two goals), while Keneizelhou Talie added another goal for the team.

Nasa ‘C’ blanked Nasa ‘D’ 8-0 in the second semi final.

Thejaneilhou Mere scored four goals for Nasa ‘C’, while Petevizo Kezieo contributed two goals and Mezhüvotuo Yhor and Keneikhrietuo Miario scored a goal each.

On February 4, the men’s football final will be played between Nasa ‘A’ and NASA ‘C’.

In men’s volleyball final, Nasa ‘C’ will play against Nasa ‘A’, while Nasa ‘B’ will take on Nasa ‘D’ in women’s volleyball final.

In badminton men’s singles, the first semi final match will be played between Vikehetuo Kense of Nasa ‘D’ and  Neiphrezo Ciesotsu of Nasa ‘C’, while Kelengulie Seyie of Nasa ‘D’ will play against  Teisovise Khruomo from Nasa ‘A’ in the second.

In badminton women’s singles, Nguluonuo Miachieo of Nasa ‘A’ will take on Marilyn Yoshü from Nasa ‘B’ in the first semi final match while, Ruokuoneinuo Kire from Nasa ‘A’ will play against  Ruokuokhrienuo Chadi from Nasa ‘C’ in the second semi-final match.

In badminton men’s doubles, Akhrietuo Suokhrie and Teisovise Khruomo of Nasa ‘A’ will clash with Sabou Yashü and Petevituo Lhoungu from Nasa ‘B’ in the first semi final match.

In the second semi-final match, Rüvuokhrielie Roland Pienyü and Kezhalezo Solo of Nasa ‘A’ will play against Vikehietuo Kense and Zhakuo Seyie from Nasa ‘D’.

In badminton mixed doubles, the final match will be played between Zhakuo Seyie and Vidilhounuo Rüpreo of Nasa ‘D’ and Rüvuokhrielie Roland Pienyü and Ruokuoneinuo Kire from Nasa ‘A’.

The final match of badminton women’s doubles, Dzüziengunuo Linyü and Nguluonuo Miachieo from Nasa ‘A’ will clash with Ruokuokhrienuo Chadi and Vizophrenuo Semou of Nasa ‘C.
