At the ongoing All India Police Archery Championship 2015 at Guwahati, Naga archers have won 2 gold medals, 6 silver and 3 bronze medals altogether in different categories like individual round, team and mixed team which includes the Olympic round and the Indian round. Coach Vesuzolu Swuro, who has been training the team, believes that Nagas have the talent if provided more facility for dedicated sportspersons. Thupuvoyi Swuro secured the highest medal by winning 1 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze, while Keziengunuo Theunuo bagged silver after winning a gold medal on the first day of the championship. Chekrovolu led the team event which won a silver medal. Vetolu Nienu won silver and a bronze medal.
