Nagaland reports 24 new Covid-19 cases, 1 death

Dimapur, Sep. 29 (EMN): Nagaland’s Covid-19 tally has increased to 31,219 with 24 fresh infections reported on Wednesday, while the active caseload decreased to 365 following the recuperation of 54 more patients.
The state’s death toll has increased to 650 with one fatality reported in the last 24 hours, while the cumulative recoveries rose to 29,199.
According to the department of Health and Family Welfare, 13 Covid cases were detected in Dimapur on Wednesday, four in Peren, three in Mokokchung, two in Kohimaand one each in Kiphire and Phek.
Among the 54 recoveries, 16 were in Tuensang, 15 in Kohima, 14 in Dimapur, seven in Phek and two in Longleng.
Out of 365 active cases, 273 are asymptomatic, 73 mild, 10 moderate on oxygen, four severe on oxygen, one in ICU without ventilator, and four in ICU on ventilator.
