Nagaland Olympics: Shooting events conclude

Dimapur, Aug. 25(EMN): Nagaland Olympic and Paralympic Games, 2022 shooting competition concluded on Thursday at shooting range, Multi Disciplinary Sports Complex, Dimapur with R Khing, Advisor of Animal Husbandary and Veterinary Services Women resources Development, Nagaland as the special guest of the closing ceremony.

Khing stated that for Nagas, the art of shooting is a natural instinct, while stating that ‘we can win medals in category if we have accuracy and control’. He advised the participants to take it as a profession and not only as leisure.

‘Shooting should not be used for criminal activities or war but as a promotional game for bringing peace, protecting and preservation of wild animal’, he added.
