Nagaland Olympic Association to hold cross-country race in Kohima

DIMAPUR — The Nagaland Olympic Association (NOA) is holding cross-country race on March 23, starting at 4 am and concluding at 10 am, beginning from the IG Stadium with roundabout at Hotel Vivor before finishing at IG Stadium.

However, an update from DIPR informed that the deputy commissioner of Kohima had granted permission for the event on the conditions that it is held only on the specified date; normal flow of traffic is not hampered; organisers ensure a clean environment; and ensure that there is no law and order problems and any untoward incidents.

In this regard, it “informed that all vehicular movement will be temporarily diverted to New Secretariat Complex via Tsakou Cha (way to New High Court Complex Junction) Kohima during the specified hours to ensure safe and smooth conduct of the race”.
