Dimapur, Nov. 10 (EMN): The District Water and Sanitation Mission Committee (DWSMC) meeting was held under the chairmanship of the deputy commissioner of Longleng, Dharam Raj in his officer chamber on November 10.
The DC welcomed the members and highlighted the importance of Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM). He urged the Rural Development department, PHED and Water Resource department to submit the detail reports along with cost breakup of the convergence projects respectively under the Jal Jeevan Mission within a week.
The DC suggested undertaking field visit to verify the completed projects starting from November 21. He further directed the PHED department to prepare time schedule for the field visiting in the district and also asked the RD and PHED departments to accompany the district administration during the field visits.
