Dimapur, Dec. 20 (EMN): State Employment Guarantee Council (SEGC) has approved the human resource manual for MGNREGA employees of Nagaland 2022.
The approval to this effect was made during a meeting of SEGC held on December 20 at the directorate of Rural Development under the chairmanship of Neposo Theluo, commissioner and secretary of RD department.
An update from RD department stated that the chairman welcomed the members and highlighted the key agendas of the meeting. He also made a brief presentation on the implementation of the MGNREGA in the state.
The presentation was followed with annual report of the social audit unit for the financial year 2021-22 by the director of SAU.
It stated that the chairman has thanked the members for making it convenient to attend the meeting despite other official engagements.
The meeting was attended by representatives and members from Rural Development, Skill Development, Social Audit Unit, School Education, SIRD and DUDA.
