Dimapur, March 17 (EMN): Mokokchung based Karate Instructor’s Sensei Senliwati Longkumer and Supong Meren participated in the KAI Referee / Judges & Accredited Coach Examination conducted by Shihan Paramjeet S. Singh, the Referee Commission Chairman of Karate Association of India (KAI) at R.G.B. Sports Complex, Guwahati on February 11, 2017.
In a press note issued by International Shito Ryu Karate Federation, India (ISKF-India) it stated that the two Karate instructors successfully got through the Accredited Coach of Karate Association of India (KAI). ISKF-India congratulating Longkumer and Meren for the feat in a press note maintained that the Technical Seminar / Examination was organised by the United Karate-Do Association of Assam (UKAA) under the aegis of Karate Association of India (KAI) which is the only recognised National Federation of Karate by the Ministry of Youth Affairs of Sports, Government of India.
It may be noted that, Shihan T.Sangtam, who is also the first World Karate Federation (WKF) 5th Dan graded of Nagaland, President of ISKF-India & All Nagaland Karate Do Association (ANKA), had recommended Sensei Senliwati Longkumer and Supong Meren for participation in the examination.
The two Karate Instructors belongs to Mokokchung District Karate do Association, which is also an affiliated district of All Nagaland Karate Do Association (ANKA).
The certificates were handed over by Shihan Bharat Sharma, general secretary KAI & Shihan Paramjeet Singh, RC-Chairman KAI during the 6th Youth & 8th Under 21 yrs State Karate Championship of Assam.
