More defiance at Mokokchung as Ao Senden serves January 17 deadline

Mokokchung, Jan. 6: Six intending candidates, including one woman, filed their nomination papers for the Mangkolemba Town Council elections in Mokokchung district on Friday.
All the six candidates who filed their nomination papers today were on NPF tickets. According to Imtiwapang Aier, ADC of Mangkolemba, there were 9 seats in the Mangkolemba Town Council.
Meanwhile, Ao Senden source informed that it has warned all the candidates who have filed their nomination papers and asked them to withdraw their candidatures before January 17 next.
