Altogether eight finalists will be vying for Miss Kohima title on Nov. 18, 2017 at RCEMPA, Jotsoma from 5 pm onwards. This was stated in a press release issued by the organisers.
The eight beauties are Arenla Ao, Onounungla, Thejakhrienuo Nakhro, Pelevinuo Rüpreo, Ruopfüzhano Whiso, Avikali Achumi, Khrütolü Swuro, and Mesüloü Thele.
The event is being organised by Agathos Society will its theme, “Inspiring Empowerment”.
The judges for the pageant are said to be Nise Meruno, Theyiesinuo Keditsu and Lipokozulu Lemtur. The release mentions that a six-day grooming session on ramp walking, choreography, social etiquettes, photo-shoot and clean election campaign was conducted for the contestants.

Tickets priced Rs. 500 and Rs. 2000 for donors respectively are said to be available at the venue.
