DIMAPUR — MGM College, Dimapur bade farewell to its BA 2020-2023 batch on Monday in the college auditorium.

The programme started by invoking God’s blessings, followed by the ‘lighting of the lamp’.

College General Secretary, Kehangyibe delivered the welcome address, after which, Reji Abraham, Principal, MGM Hr. Sec. School, shared words of encouragement to the students.

He highlighted the unemployment crisis in Nagaland, and advised the students to not get discouraged or be lost. But rather, he told them to adapt entrepreneurship skills, or be a start-up manager, by availing the different government schemes. Abraham also advised the students not to be copy cats but rather be creative and innovative.

“Henceforth, by doing proper studies, the students should aim to be an employer and employ others,” it said, according to an update.

A special song was delivered by the college choir, followed by the farewell message from Rev. Fr. Dr. P S Varghese, principal of the college.
