DIMAPUR — The new church building of Losami Baptist Church (LBC), Phek, was dedicated on Sunday by Rev. Dr. Chekrovei Cho-o, executive secretary, Chakhesang Baptist Church Council.
According to an update, the dedication service was led by LBC associate pastor Neikhwewe Mekrisuh, while the worship service was led by LBC pastor Kesowe Mekrisuh. Pholami Baptist Church pastor Vezokho Vezhu shared greetings.
During the dedication programme, a brief building report was presented by planning committee chairman Neichete K Tara, while the finance report was given by finance committee convenor Kedukhahi Akami.
Earlier, Rev. Thepupa Swiiro, pastor of Chozuba Village Baptist Church, pronounced thanksgiving prayer, and Rev. Vevotso Thuluo, pastor of Phusachodu Baptist Church, pronounced offertory prayer.
CYE Losami, Losami Kohima Unit, and Losami Dimapur Unit performed at the dedication service, while Wewupeu Kepfoh, associate pastor (women), LBC, led the acknowledgment.
The programme also featured a Bible reading by Rev. Dr. Thupucuyi Khesoh, pastor of Phek Town Baptist Church, and a closing prayer by Rev. Dr. Dingu Kenye, pastor of Lasumi Baptist Church.
Later in the evening service, Rev. Dr. Kowepe Kanuo, director of the Chakhesang Mission Society, delivered the message.
