Dimapur, March 29 (EMN): A thanksgiving programme was conducted in Aghunato on March 28 to celebrate the success of a legislator, Pukhayi Sumi, during the recent legislative assembly elections.
A press release on Thursday stated that during the programme, the member of Legislative Assembly, Pukhayi Sumi, thanked God for his victory in the elections. He thanked the people of Aghunato for lending him support and cooperation and offering him the opportunity to serve the people.
Sumi said that Aghunato area is a compact area with clear geographical boundaries. He said that the geographical area of Aghunato possesses a significant history that can be developed to a great extent, updated the APRO.
“All the villages under Aghunato sub-division would be availed with government assistance, “ S umi was said to have stated.
The APRO reported that, the president of NDPP, Hoito Achumi thanked Pukhayi for retrieving the banking treasury to Aghunato. Achumi requested Pukhayi to pursue for early achievement and requested the public to support him, the update added.
